Senior Tester:
TXT e-Swiss is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join the team dedicated to Quality Assurance and Testing activities for major clients in the Banking & Financial Services sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire testing lifecycle for strategic accounts, with a particular focus on Web Banking and Mobile Banking applications, helping to ensure high-quality standards and compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end testing activities, from planning and execution through to final reporting.
Perform functional and non-functional testing on Web Banking and Mobile Banking applications.
Define and prepare test plans, test cases, test scripts, and progress reports.
Identify, track, and monitor defects and issues through dedicated tools.
Collaborate with development, functional analysis, and delivery teams to ensure the quality of released solutions.
Support customers during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases and release validation activities.
Ensure compliance with testing best practices and standards required by the banking and financial services industry.
Requirements
At least 6 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance activities.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (Functional Testing, Regression Testing, System Integration Testing, UAT).
Experience gained in the Banking & Financial Services sector or in other highly regulated environments.
Functional knowledge of Web Banking and Mobile Banking platforms.
Experience using Micro Focus Quality Center / ALM, JIRA, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and priority management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and international teams.
Preferred Requirements
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Software Testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB) will be considered a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, STEM disciplines, or an equivalent qualification.
Languages
Fluent Italian.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
