Are you passionate about making business-critical ERP processes simpler, more reliable and easier to use? In this role, you will be the senior internal expert for Abacus ERP and help shape how u-blox uses the platform across core business functions such as Sales, Supply Chain and Finance.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, process owners, IT teams, developers, data teams and external Abacus partners. A major focus will be the Abacus Version 26 transformation, where you will help move the organization towards a more standardized, scalable, secure and process-led ERP design.

The role is located in Thalwil, Switzerland.
Your Responsibilities
- Own senior functional governance, configuration quality, setup, optimization and control of Abacus ERP modules.
- Translate business requirements into functional designs, backlog items, acceptance criteria, test scenarios and release inputs.
- Lead functional design and implementation governance for the Abacus Version 26 transformation project.
- Shape fit-to-standard process design, challenge legacy workarounds and reduce unnecessary customization.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders without formal authority, negotiate practical design options and secure alignment on fit-to-standard ERP decisions before escalation.
- Provide functional input for integrations, data flows, reporting dependencies, automation opportunities and controls.
- Support testing, release readiness, incident resolution, documentation, knowledge transfer and continuous ERP improvement.
Your Skills and Experience
- Significant senior-level hands-on experience with Abacus ERP configuration, support, upgrades or functional ownership.
- Strong practical knowledge of ERP governance, process design, finance, operations, supply chain and business administration.
- Ability to translate business needs into sustainable functional designs and clear implementation inputs.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional ERP activities with business stakeholders, IT teams, developers, data teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify root causes, simplify complexity and propose practical solutions.
- Confident communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority, build consensus across functions and explain trade-offs clearly to stakeholders with different priorities.
- Proficiency in English and German is required to collaborate effectively across local and international teams.
- Valid eligibility to work in Switzerland, either through EU citizenship or a valid Swiss work permit.

- Experience with ERP transformation or major version upgrade projects.
- Knowledge of automation opportunities, reporting dependencies or integration-related process design.
