About the Role:
As our Founding Product Manager, you will be the critical link between market needs, customer insights, and technical execution. Your mission: deliver a fast-evolving, market-oriented product that balances business value, product vision, and technological feasibility. You’ll drive the product lifecycle from early concept to Product-Market-Fit, working cross-functionally with engineering, data science, sales, and executive leadership. This role is ideal for someone who has done it before – successfully building and scaling products in a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the product strategy and roadmap in alignment with SedAI’s business goals – translating vision into actionable plans
- Drive the product from Problem-Fit to Solution-Fit to Product-Market-Fit using lean, hypothesis-driven, iterative methods
- Define MVPs, test assumptions rapidly, reduce time-to-value, and drive continuous delivery of features that solve real user problems
- Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and customer interviews to identify growth opportunities
- Translate complex data and technical possibilities into intuitive, scalable product features
- Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to prioritize and manage the product backlog
- Use prioritization frameworks (e.g. WSJF, RICE) to make business-driven trade-offs that maximize impact per release
- Maintain clear, realistic roadmaps and ensure stakeholder alignment through transparent, consistent product communication
- Track and analyze key lifecycle KPIs – including conversion, adoption, churn, NPS, MRR/ARR, CAC, and feature-level ROI
- Support product positioning, pricing, messaging, and go-to-market execution in close collaboration with Sales & Marketing
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement through demos, ROI updates, and cross-functional planning sessions
- Drive lightweight prototyping and demo development in early stages, including coordination of freelance or external developers
- Evaluate technical feasibility, timelines, and implementation trade-offs to support rapid iteration
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in a technology or data-driven B2B startup environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated success in leading a product from zero to MVP to scale, ideally in a SaaS, AI, or PropTech context
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in SQL, BI dashboards, and A/B testing to evaluate product performance and business impact
- Proficiency with key product and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Figma, Notion)
- Strong command of product discovery, agile workflows (Scrum/Kanban), backlog ownership, and user story writing
- Experience applying prioritization frameworks to support lean, high-ROI development
- Technical fluency with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering and data science teams
- Experience working with freelance or external developers in early-stage or prototyping contexts
- Solid understanding of software development workflows and architecture, with the ability to evaluate technical scope and feasibility
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to build or configure quick, functional prototypes using no-code/low-code tools or simple scripts
- Clear decision-making under uncertainty and incomplete information; strong prioritization in dynamic contexts
- Strategic adaptability – ability to recognize inflection points and pivot decisively when needed
- Fluent in English and German (minimum B2 level)
- A proactive contributor with a growth mindset, strong ownership, and the ability to align teams around ambitious goals in fast-paced, uncertain environments
