As an OT Technical Lead (m/w/d), you will report directly to our OT & Automation Manager and join our Engineering & Maintenance team in Vernier (Switzerland).
You will ensure the security, reliability, and compliance of Operational Technology (OT) systems across the site. You will design and validate OT architectures, manage cybersecurity risks, and oversee industrial IT infrastructure while ensuring agreement on IT policies and GMP regulations.
In this exciting role you will :
OT Architecture & Cybersecurity
Design and validate OT network architectures including segmentation, DMZs, and firewalls
Implement cybersecurity controls based on IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, ISO 27001, and ISA 95 standards
Conduct risk assessments including threat modelling and vulnerability scanning
System Integration & Compliance
Lead OT/IT convergence projects such as cloud OT, data historians, and MES implementations
Ensure GMP compliance including 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and CSV requirements
Validate OT systems through IQ/OQ/PQ activities for computerized systems
Project & Vendor Management
Estimate, plan, and implement OT projects including network upgrades and cybersecurity hardening projects
Manage external vendors such as cybersecurity auditors and system integrators
Manage OT budgets including Capex investments and OpEx maintenance activities
Team Leadership & Standards
Mentor OT Engineers on best practices including secure coding and network design
Define OT standards related to password policies, patch management, and backup procedures
Lead incident response activities for OT cybersecurity events
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Monitor latest OT technologies such as Zero Trust, Edge Computing, and AI-driven anomaly detection
Support digital transformation projects including Industry 4.0 and Smart Manufacturing
Collaborate with IT teams on hybrid OT/IT solutions including cloud-based monitoring systems
You ?
Master's Degree in Operational Technology, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity
7+ years of experience in OT environments including industrial IT, networks, and cybersecurity
3+ years of experience in a leadership role such as OT Engineer or Cybersecurity Specialist
Experience within GMP-regulated industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage, or Chemicals
Knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile, ITIL, and COBIT
Knowledge of OT systems including Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and Industrial IoT (IIoT)
Cybersecurity standards and technologies including IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, ISO 27001, Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms such as Splunk or IBM QRadar
Industrial networking protocols including TCP/IP, Ethernet, Profinet/Profibus, OPC UA, Modbus, and DNP3
Compliance frameworks including GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11 (EU GMP), and SOX
Programming and scripting languages including Python, PowerShell, and SQL
Computer System Validation (CSV) and Risk-Based Validation methodologies
Tools such as Wireshark, Nessus, and SIEM platforms
Risk-aware with a cybersecurity mindset
A collaborative professional able to bridge OT and IT teams while working with EHS, Quality, and Production
Experience in root-cause analysis and cyber incident investigations
Fluent in English and French, with the ability to explain technical concepts and risks to non-technical partners
