IT CONSULTANT POSITION
QA Engineer – eBanking (Private Banking / Wealth Management)
As a QA Engineer, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and security of our private banking e-banking platforms. You will design and execute comprehensive test strategies across web and mobile channels, drive operational excellence in manual and automated testing, and ensure full alignment with regulatory and data privacy requirements.
- Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning
- Design and implement risk-based test strategies aligned to project timelines, scope, and regulatory constraints.
- Define and maintain test plans covering functional, integration, system, performance, and regression testing.
- Test Execution (Manual & Automated)
- Execute test cases and end-to-end scenarios across web and mobile e-banking journeys (onboarding, payments, trading, client communications, alerts).
- Operate and execute existing automation packs
- Exposure to automated testing tools or frameworks like Selenium, Playwright is a plus, CI pipelines, and test management tools (JIRA X-Ray)
- Analyze logs and results to triage failures.
- Validate back-end behavior via SQL queries, API validations, and log analysis.
- Quality Governance & Reporting
- Enforce QA standards, test traceability, and documentation across the SDLC.
- Use JIRA and Xray for test management, traceability, defect lifecycle, and coverage reporting.
- Provide concise QA dashboards and KPIs to QA Lead, Release Management, and Project Management.
- Defect & Risk Management
- Log, prioritize, and track defects; facilitate triage with Development, DevOps, and Business.
- Ensure clean entry/exit criteria by release; contribute to go/no-go decisions.
- UAT & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Co-define UAT strategy with business stakeholders, document acceptance criteria and success metrics.
- Support UAT execution, defect triage, and sign-off readiness.
Continuous Improvement
Drive process improvements in test design, data management, and automation reliability; contribute to playbooks and reusable assets.
- Required Technical Proficiency
- Test Operations
- Strong experience executing manual and automated tests across web and mobile in an Agile environment.
- Hands-on with test management using JIRA and Xray (test plans, executions, traceability to requirements and defects).
- Basic understanding of version control workflows (Git) for fetching branches and running tagged suites.
- Data & API Validation
- Proficient in SQL for data validation, reconciliation, and back-end testing.
- Experience validating REST APIs (e.g., Postman, Swagger, etc..) and reviewing application logs.
Tooling
- Defect tracking and reporting using JIRA; test design and execution in Xray is essential.
Analytics/reporting on test KPIs and coverage using Xray/JIRA dashboards or BI tools.

- Preferred Skills
- Financial Services
- 5+ years in banking, ideally Private Banking/Wealth Management; solid grasp of payments, trading flows, client onboarding/KYC, and portfolio reporting.
- Technical
- Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium) and familiarity with languages like Java or Python is preferred for reading test code and interpreting failures.
- Experience with mobile testing (e.g., Appium) and cross-browser/device testing.

Proficiency in French and English required; German is a plus.
- Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
