IT System Administrator

About the Role
Swiss IT Solutions is looking for experienced IT System Administrators to join our growing team across multiple locations in Germany. If you have a strong background in Windows administration, Microsoft technologies, networking, and end-user support, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Windows desktop environments.
- Administer Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, Group Policies, and endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune.
- Monitor and troubleshoot servers, networks, hardware, software, and security issues.
- Configure and support LAN/WAN, VPNs, Wi-Fi, switches, and firewalls.
- Perform system updates, patch management, backups, and disaster recovery tasks.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for infrastructure and end users.
- Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and system health.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth IT operations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as an IT System Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra ID.
- Experience with networking, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and backup solutions.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Valid Swiss Work Permit / EU Citizenship.
- German, French and English language proficiency is mandatory.
