Your Mission
As an Operations Engineer, everything you do revolves around Mission Control, Open Systems' Digital Operations Center, where Security, Networking, Cloud Operations, and Customer Operations converge. Your mission is not only to maintain operational excellence but to actively shape the future of how operations are delivered.
You identify problems, challenge the status quo, and drive initiatives that improve reliability, efficiency, automation, and customer experience. Working together with Engineering, Business Units, and customers, you take ideas from concept to implementation and help evolve Mission Control into the next generation of intelligent operations, including AI integration.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background who thrives in an independent work style as well as working in the team and with other teams, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to make a visible impact rather than simply follow established processes.

- Design and implement new processes, tools, workflows, and operational concepts to drive improvements in reliability, efficiency, automation, and customer experience.

- Contribute to the evolution of operational standards and best practices.
Collaborate Across the Organization
- Work closely with Engineering, Security, Service Delivery, Customer Success teams, and customers.
- Support training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Be a Techie
- Work part time in Mission Control yourself. Experience the changes you made and help our customers in the day to day business.
- Build and maintain small software tools that help Mission Control engineers in their daily shift.
- Support operations when extra effort is needed, for example during big incidents and their root cause analysis.
Your Qualifications
You are someone who:
- Naturally takes ownership and follows through.
- Enjoys building, improving, and implementing.
