As a Solutions Architect, you will design scalable, resilient, and maintainable enterprise solutions with a strong focus on Java and the Spring ecosystem. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to translate requirements into robust technical architectures.
Your Role & Responsibilities

Design end-to-end architectures for Java-based enterprise applications.

Define scalable and resilient distributed systems using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and REST APIs.

Design microservices, service-oriented, and event-driven architectures.

Define integration solutions using APIs, messaging, event streaming, SOA, EAI, and EDA.

Provide architectural guidance to development teams and promote modern engineering practices.

Evaluate technology options based on scalability, security, performance, complexity, and maintainability.

Support solution design throughout the software development lifecycle.

Communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Several years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Software Architect, or ICT Architect in enterprise environments.

Strong hands-on experience with Java and modern software design principles.

Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem.

Proven experience designing microservices, distributed systems, APIs, and integration solutions.

Experience with service- and event-driven architectures, including SOA, EAI, and EDA.

Good understanding of cloud-native architecture, containers, observability, and modern deployment practices.

Experience working in agile environments, ideally with SAFe.

Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluency in German and English.
