Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable server-side infrastructure for the Automotive AI Agent platform using C++ and Go.
Build and evolve One Platform APIs, managing their lifecycle from experimental to General Availability, ensuring they meet Google Cloud standards.
Contribute to the design and implementation of backend systems supporting platform features, including potential monetization mechanisms.
Collaborate on API design, system architecture, and integration points with on-device components and other cloud services.
Engage in technical discussions, code reviews, and contribute to the team's engineering excellence.
