Partnership Manager (Freelance, August 2026 - May 2027)

As the organiser of some of the biggest and most iconic sport events in the world, we lead the way in the sport and event industry.

Join the team as a freelancer and support us on our mission.

THE POSITION

These are your key tasks:

Manage day-to-day relationship with FIFA Commercial Affiliate(s).
Establish and cultivate relationships with commercial partners and internal FIFA stakeholders.
Demonstrate a proactive and solution-oriented driven approach to account servicing.
Acquire knowledge of FIFA Commercial Affiliates rights and commitments to identify relevant and meaningful marketing opportunities.
Develop understanding of specific Commercial Affiliates’ product categories, including competitors.
Handling of various marketing approvals submitted by FIFA Commercial Affiliates, providing a timely response to requests and supplying solutions.
Potential opportunities to support the Partnership Rights Delivery team on-site for certain FIFA Competitions, either at event HQ or in competition venues.

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

Four to five years’ experience of marketing or client servicing within a global brand or agency and event management background
Experience working with local/regional governments and entities
Good working knowledge of digital and social media platforms
Experience delivering marketing communications plans using a mixture of online and offline digital, social and traditional media
Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and at a senior level
Fluent in English
Proficient in Word / PowerPoint / Excel
University degree in Sports Management or equivalent
Strong understanding of the sports marketing and sponsorship business
Proven client servicing and effective relationship management skills
Experience in global sports environment and event management
Self-motivated, proactive and solution oriented
Capability to multi-task and set priorities
Flexible, open, and innovative mind-set
Team worker, service oriented and cooperative with good interpersonal, oral and written skills
Represent FIFA Organization and Partnerships & Media Division values and standards
Establishing and cultivating key business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to turn ideas and concepts into workable action plans
Ability to complete tasks successfully in a well-organized manor, even when situations are ambiguous or stressful
Proven track record of leading and delivering multiple projects under pressure
