The Role
As a Senior Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for driving customer engagement, demand generation, pipeline creation and regional marketing execution across Switzerland and the Alps region.
Working closely with Sales leadership, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating and delivering marketing activities that support pipeline growth and strengthen customer relationships within the region.
This is a highly execution-focused role, with a strong emphasis on customer events, executive roundtables, partner activities, third-party conferences, webinars and local marketing programs. You will own activities from planning through execution, ensuring exceptional attendee experiences while delivering measurable business outcomes.
You will work closely with teams across Global Campaigns, Product Marketing, Account Development, Direct Sales, Solutions Consultants, Channels and Alliances to ensure activities are aligned to regional priorities and pipeline objectives.
You are great at:
- Executing high-quality marketing programs, events and customer engagement activities from concept through delivery
- Managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Working closely with Sales teams to identify opportunities, support account activity and drive pipeline generation
- Planning and delivering customer events, executive briefings, webinars, partner events and third-party conferences
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of campaigns and marketing activities
- Building strong relationships with Sales, Partners, Product Marketing and other business stakeholders
- Managing marketing budgets and external vendors effectively
- Analysing campaign and event performance to optimise future activities
- Leveraging global marketing programs and adapting them to local market requirements
- Ensuring every marketing activity is aligned to commercial objectives and delivers measurable outcomes
What it takes:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, field marketing, event marketing, campaign marketing or partner marketing
- Strong experience planning and executing customer events, executive events, partner events, webinars and industry conferences
- Experience working closely with Sales teams in a highly collaborative environment
- Understanding of demand generation and how marketing activities contribute to pipeline and revenue
- Experience operating within enterprise software, SaaS, technology or IT services environments
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with marketing automation and CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Eloqua, Marketo or similar tools
- Comfortable working independently while coordinating with regional and global stakeholders
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and Excel
- Exposure to AI tools and their application within marketing activities
Preferred Experience
- Enterprise software or technology industry experience
- Experience working with partner-led marketing programs
- Exposure to field marketing and regional campaign execution
- Experience supporting account-based marketing initiatives
- Experience working within matrix organisations
