POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Service Engineer Thermal (m/f/d)
responsible for the maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of complex refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The focus is on independent on-site work at customer locations while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES – WHAT AWAITS YOU
Technical Operations
You will perform maintenance, servicing, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems (e.g., split, VRF, precision cooling, and chilled water systems) directly at customer sites.
Troubleshooting & Emergency Response
When something isn’t running smoothly, you find the cause – and fix it. You are part of our rotating on- call service and ensure fast solutions.
Commissioning of New Systems
You bring new systems online, conduct functional tests, and explain the key operating elements to customers.
Safety & Quality
You work according to clear EHS guidelines, handle refrigerants safely, and comply with all regulations – professionally and responsibly.
Customer Contact & Consultation
You are our face to the customer – friendly, competent, and solution-oriented. You provide feedback on system conditions and support with technical inquiries.
Documentation & Digital Reporting
Using mobile tools, you document your assignments cleanly and efficiently. You provide feedback directly to our team – clearly, completely, and reliably.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Completed vocational training in refrigeration, HVAC, or ventilation technology, or an equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in technical field service is an advantage – career starters with a willingness to learn are also welcome
- Certified expertise for refrigerants according to F-Gas Regulation (Category I)
- Valid driver’s license (Class B)
- Independent, structured work approach and enjoyment of direct customer contact
- Willingness to travel & participate in on-call duty
- Good German language skills (written and spoken) and basic English for communication with international colleagues, documentation, and systems
