About the role
Senior Global Design Manager is the Design partner who manage all aspects of the Design mix including Shopper, Digital, Product, Packaging, Expert and Innovation, to deliver against brand objectives.
You will join the Global Brand Team and report to Global Brand Lead – Otrivin, Flonase & Theraflu, working as a Design partner with marketing, fully leveraging all aspects of design at a strategic, tactical and operational level.
We expect you to have a deep understanding of the consumer, capable of aligning global interests while effectively accommodating local market nuances and consequently delivering growth for Otrivin, Flonase & Theraflu globally and for the 6 OUs.
This role needs to be effective as the external face of Haleon to Design agencies.
Role Responsibilities
Lead in applying design principles to all aspects of Brand Marketing including Visual Positioning, Holistic Brand Language (HBL), Master Designs & Design Guidelines, codifying and protecting the brand equity
Define brand design guardrails and manage approved brand assets to guide localisation of content, ensuring high quality and consistency across brand assets
Lead Design development within the innovation process applying Design thinking, including collaborating effectively with QSC and R&D on packaging & product development and innovation
Lead design projects, signing off design briefs and managing projects with internal stakeholders and Design agencies to ensure they adhere to best practices
Work closely with Otrivin, Flonase & Theraflu design team to drive cohesion across all brands, building strong visual equities and enhancing the consumer trust agenda for the Category

Basic Qualifications:
Commercial acumen developed from experience of being part of a multifunctional team
Management experience in FMCG/Healthcare environment or Design related business
Design expertise including all aspects of Branding, Design & Innovation process, knowledge of design thinking and how this applies to the business
Track record of leading Design development within the innovation process applying Design thinking
Demonstrated ability to successfully cooperating with people of different levels internally and externally (multiple design partners) and effectively managing design team to deliver business objectives
Strong ability to recognise, respond to (internal and external) customer expectations with sense of urgency
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant software
