We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, EMEA Controller to lead accounting, finance operations, compliance, and controllership activities across our growing EMEA region. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence a rapidly expanding international business while building scalable financial processes and ensuring operational excellence.
The Senior Manager, EMEA Controller is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of accounting, finance operations, statutory compliance, treasury, and payroll governance activities across EMEA. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Finance - International, this role serves as a key business partner supporting continued international growth through strong financial stewardship, process improvement, and regulatory compliance.
This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position that works closely with internal accounting teams, outsourced service providers, external advisors, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and effective financial operations across multiple jurisdictions.

Leading monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across EMEA legal entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting under US GAAP and local statutory requirements.

Reviewing financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, reserves, and significant accounting estimates to ensure financial integrity.

Consolidating EMEA financial results and supporting internal and external reporting requirements.

Maintaining a strong internal control environment and coordinating internal and external audits.

Supporting technical accounting matters and implementation of new accounting standards and requirements.

Overseeing accounts payable, payroll accounting, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and general ledger activities across the region.

Managing cash forecasting, intercompany funding activities, and payment controls.

Leading payroll governance, accounting, accruals, and gross-to-net reconciliations while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Managing third-party providers, shared service organizations, and local finance partners to drive service excellence and continuous improvement.

Serving as an escalation point for complex accounting, operational, and compliance matters.

Driving finance transformation initiatives focused on process standardization, optimization, and scalability.

Supporting implementation and enhancement of ERP, expense management, and financial reporting systems.

Developing, documenting, and maintaining financial processes and procedures.

Supporting the establishment and integration of new legal entities and market expansions throughout EMEA.

Coordinating accounting, banking, payroll, tax, statutory reporting, and operational finance requirements for new entities.

Partnering with local advisors to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and reporting obligations.

Leading and developing finance team members, outsourced providers, and external finance partners across the region.

Supporting recruitment, workforce planning, employee development, and performance management.

Fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Developing and maintaining an effective internal control framework supporting SOX compliance and corporate governance requirements.

Ensuring adherence to corporate policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Identifying financial, operational, and compliance risks and implementing mitigation strategies.

Partnering with Tax, Treasury, Legal, HR, and Operations on cross-functional governance initiatives.
You're Awesome At:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

CPA, ACA, ACCA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.

10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience within a multinational organization.
-
5+ years of leadership experience in a Controller, Accounting Manager, Finance Manager, or similar role.

Experience managing multi-country accounting operations across Europe.
-
Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.

Experience leading finance transformation, ERP implementation, or business process improvement initiatives.

Experience supporting new legal entity creation and international market expansion.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a comparable global ERP platform.

Additional European language skills.

Strong technical accounting expertise in US GAAP, statutory reporting, and multinational consolidations.

Deep understanding of internal controls, SOX compliance, and corporate governance.

Experience managing outsourced accounting, payroll, and shared-service providers.

Strong project management and process improvement capabilities.

Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
