Job Description
We are expanding our Quant Engine team and seeking an engineer who combines solid technical expertise with excellent communication and collaboration skills. We value pragmatic people who can solve problems with original thinking and who thrive in agile, cross-functional teams.
What you will do

-
Design and deliver maintainable, reliable, and well-tested solutions.
-
Own and evolve well-defined areas of the codebase with a high degree of autonomy.
-
Collaborate closely with quants, backend engineers, product stakeholders, and other teams.
-
Team spirit - you are a great teammate, making sure that everyone on your team feels valued and is excited to work with you.
-
Passion, curiosity, pragmatism, and humility. We favor code and demos over lengthy discussions.
-
Use AI tools thoughtfully and responsibly, understanding when they help and when engineering judgment matters more.

-
Experience with technologies similar to our stack, including Docker, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, AWS, GitHub Actions, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and gRPC.
-
Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity while maintaining sound engineering judgement and high code quality.
-
Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to take features and services from design through to production and operational support.
-
Professional proficiency in English. French is an advantage but not required.
-
Based in, or willing to relocate to, our Lausanne office.
-
Swiss or European citizenship, or a valid Swiss work permit.
Nice to have:
