The Role:
We are supporting a leading international private banking institution in the search for a Senior Technical Business Analyst with strong Avaloq development expertise .
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys acting as the bridge between business and technology while remaining hands-on in development. You will work closely with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, design technical solutions, and implement them within the Avaloq platform.
A strong understanding of banking processes is essential, with Accounting knowledge being a significant advantage.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and challenge functional requirements.
Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
Design robust and scalable solutions within the Avaloq platform.
Develop and customize Avaloq functionalities using Avaloq Script and PL/SQL .
Participate in technical analysis, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Work closely with developers, architects, testers, and business users throughout the project lifecycle.
Contribute to continuous improvements of existing applications and processes.
Ensure solutions comply with development standards and banking best practices.
Support incident analysis and provide technical expertise for complex issues.
What We’re Looking For:
Several years of experience as a Business Analyst within the banking industry .
Proven experience working on Avaloq projects.
Mandatory hands-on development experience in Avaloq Script and PL/SQL.
Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and software development lifecycle.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid project environments.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Fluent in English.
Experience with Banking Accounting processes or Accounting modules within Avaloq.
Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting or Financial Reporting.
Experience working in private banking or wealth management environments.
French is an advantage.
