We are looking for a skilled Process Design Engineer – Pharma & Life Sciences to support the design, planning, and delivery of advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, including Biotech, OSD, Secondary Manufacturing, and Cell & Gene Therapy plants. You will be involved in projects from early concept development through to commissioning and qualification.
Key duties of the role include:
Lead and support the design, planning, and coordination of pharmaceutical process facilities
Develop key process documentation, including: User Requirement Specifications (URS), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs, and mass and energy balances
Prepare tender documentation and support bid evaluations
Coordinate with vendors post-award to ensure successful project execution
Provide support during construction, commissioning, and qualification phases
Contribute to investments' cost estimates and project budgeting
Here's what you'll need
Degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering, Biotechnology, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical plant design and engineering
Knowledge of pharmaceutical and/or biopharmaceutical production technologies
Structured and solution-oriented working style
Willingness to travel for business as required
Fluent in German and/or French, along with fluent English
