Supply Chain & Operations Intern

Contract Type: Full-time Internship or Work-Study Placement (alternating schedule accepted: 4 days / 1 day per week or equivalent arrangement)
About the Role
As a Supply Chain & Operations Intern, you will support the daily execution of supply chain and production planning activities. Working closely with the Daily & Weekly Scheduler, Purchasing Team, Production Partners, and Warehouse Operations, you will contribute to ensuring the smooth flow of raw materials and finished goods throughout the supply chain.
Please note that this internship is open only to candidates who are currently enrolled in a university or higher education institution and will remain enrolled for the entire duration of the internship.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations & Scheduling

Support daily and weekly production scheduling activities.

Monitor raw material requirements and ensure timely procurement.

Review weekly production needs and communicate requirements to stakeholders.

Participate in weekly meetings with the purchasing team.

Create and maintain purchase orders in the ERP system.

Communicate raw material requirements to suppliers and coordinate follow-up activities between suppliers and production subcontractors (toll manufacturers).

Adjust purchase orders and planning parameters according to production and supply constraints.

Proactively alert planners of any risks or disruptions that may impact the production plan.
Production & Logistics Coordination

Create and maintain production work orders in the ERP system.

Coordinate transportation between production sites (toll manufacturers) and the warehouse.

Ensure accurate information flow between production, logistics, and supply chain teams.
Inventory Management & Continuous Improvement

Analyze inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to identify potential stock-at-risk situations.

Propose and support corrective actions to mitigate inventory risks and optimize stock levels.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of supply chain processes and operational tools.

Support cross-functional business projects as required.
Profile
Education

Currently enrolled in a university, engineering school, business school, or equivalent higher education institution.

Must maintain active student status throughout the entire internship period.
Skills & Qualifications

Fluent in French and English.
