Your impact
Anticipates internal and/or external business challenges, vendor and/or regulatory issues; Recommends process, product or service improvements; Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Oversee construction project from beginning to end
Manage the budget and estimate costs
Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed
Keep track of inventory, tools and equipment
Ensure supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule
Prepare reports regarding job status
Resolve any problems that may arise
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Evaluate risks
Collaborate with client, subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team
Plan construction operations
Ensure all deadlines are met
Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards
Here's what you'll need
15+ years of experience in an Engineering, Environmental or Construction organization required
10+ years of experience in construction management in the Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology Industry required
English languages knowledge is a must. Knowledge of German, French and/or Italian language could be a plus
Strong communication skills
High level of Safety Awareness
Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building is desirable
Local and international travel will be required
