- Execute Design of Experiments (DoE) for process optimization.
- Maintain and improve automated production test platforms by developing and optimizing TestStand/LabVIEW software.
- Build and maintain test fixtures and measurement systems.
- Configure and maintain production test environments, software configurations and manufacturing databases.
- Improve production throughput, repeatability and measurement accuracy.
- Monitor manufacturing yield using statistical methods and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze manufacturing and test data to identify trends and process variations.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation in accordance with the company's ISO quality management system, including technical procedures, work instructions, engineering specifications and product documentation.
- Support Supply Chain by performing incoming inspections and developing automated tools to improve inspection efficiency and process optimization.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Production, Quality and Supply Chain teams to support product industrialization and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in physics, optics, semiconductor engineering, electrical engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with National Instruments LabVIEW and TestStand environments is preferred.
- Experience with programming in Python, working with SQL databases and using Git version control.
- Experience using optical and electrical test equipment for characterization of optoelectronic devices.
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) or other tools related to production performance and quality.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to troubleshoot complex automated manufacturing equipment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve technically challenging problems.
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English; German is considered as an asset.
Desired Skills:
