The opportunity
Hitachi Energy is looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager Process Improvement to drive strategic optimization initiatives across business units. In this role, you will enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen overall operational performance through structured process improvements and digital transformation.
How you’ll make an impact
Be in the lead to identify bottlenecks in an extended value chain involving key suppliers and a factory network
Lead a cross functional team of Continuous Improvement champions to drive and align all departments towards one common improvement goal
Drive major and measurable improvements in terms of delivery time reduction and output increase by implementing state-of-the-art methods such as Theory of Constraints (ToC)
Lead CI method trainings (e.g. A3 problem solving and ToC)
Monitor project progress, risks, and performance, and report to senior management
Identify opportunities for automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement
Your background
Proven track record in delivering complex process optimization initiatives by applying Theory of Constraints (ToC)
Proven track record in the identification of bottlenecks in a complex supplier and factory network
Proven track record in extended value chain mapping especially including office work (e.g. engineering, procurement and planning)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset and strong result orientation
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
English is mandatory, German beneficial
