Role Overview
We are building a talent pool for Operators to support our production teams in Zurich.
In this role, you will work in a modern cleanroom environment, supporting the manufacturing of optoelectronic components and laser diodes. You will perform precise manual tasks, operate production equipment, and contribute to maintaining high product quality standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor process equipment in a cleanroom semiconductor manufacturing environment
- Load, unload, and set up production equipment
- Perform process control, measurements, and inspections using microscopes and technical tools
- Execute precise manufacturing steps in line with written work instructions
- Record and document production activities in ERP systems
- Support pre- and post-production tasks (e.g., cleaning, material handling, basic maintenance)
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities in collaboration with technicians and engineers
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and cleanroom standards
Your Profile
- No specific formal degree required
- Interest in technical, production, or manufacturing environments
- Experience in manufacturing, cleanroom, microtechnology, or similar environments is an advantage
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- High level of concentration and quality awareness
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Structured, reliable, and precise working style
- Willingness to work in a shift-based environment (early and late shifts)
- Fluent German required; basic English is an advantage
Working Hours
- Two-shift system:
- Early shift: 06:00 – 14:30
- Late shift: 14:30 – 23:00
- Shifts scheduled based on production needs
