About EH Group Engineering
EHG is developing cutting-edge fuel cell technology for heavy duty mobility and large-scale stationary power applications. Our uniquely redesigned product is a significantly more compact fuel cell with high power density and lower costs of production. Faced with the challenges of climate change and the transition to a decentralised energy system, EHG seeks to provide high performance and cost-effective fuel cell solutions to our clients and partners.
To help achieve our vision of a decarbonised future we are seeking Mechanical Engineers to design components and assemblies for our compact, high power density fuel cell products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical components, modules and assemblies for fuel cell stacks and systems
- Produce 3D models, detailed drawings and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Apply design-for-manufacture and design-for-assembly principles
- Support prototyping, build and validation of designs
- Work with suppliers on component manufacture and tooling
- Maintain BOMs, drawings and engineering changes in PLM
- Collaborate with simulation, test, electrical and process engineering
Skills and Experience Required:
- BSc/MSc in mechanical engineering is mandatory
- Minimum 3-5 years of mechanical design experience in an engineering hardware business
- Proficiency with 3D CAD (ex. SolidWorks) and in-depth understanding of GD&T
- Understanding of DFM/DFA and common manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of sealing, thermofluidic, thermal or structural design is a plus
- Team player able to work autonomously with internal and external experts
