Our mission is to create the world's first fully functioning language based on icons to improve written communication by adding visual meanings.

push through walls to turn your beliefs into reality. Pioneering the adoption of a new communication system is ambitious. You understand this and are resilient.
About us
We're a team of over 20 volunteers working across multiple disciplines, from linguistics to design, from business development and marketing to product development. We are open and respectful, and work remotely and mostly asynchronously. Accountability is key for us, and so is teamwork.
About the role
KomunIKON offers you the opportunity to join the team by dealing with business strategy. You will be responsible for investigating the different business models that could be proposed for the future company. All the tasks that will be entrusted to you will not require any travel on your part, as they can be done directly from your home. The KomunIKON team is also composed of collaborators living outside of Switzerland, and depending on the workgroup, we have meetings in different languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian, Esperanto, and English), so it is a good opportunity to practice the languages you are studying.
Missions:
- Conduct interviews with different entities to evaluate market opportunities
- Assist your manager in the analysis of different leads
- Report on the performance of your activities
- Contribute to the development of business strategies and action plans
- Participate in identifying and establishing potential partnerships
Profile required :
- Good communication skills
- Openness and resistance to stress
- Good organizational skills
- Fluency in English
- Self-motivated
- Availability of a few hours per week
- Interest in business development, strategy, or entrepreneurship is a plus
