Job Description

Lead end-to-end financial steering and performance management for the Zurich legal entity, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow oversight.

Manage monthly closing reviews, prepare performance reports, and deliver variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior year.

Identify financial risks and opportunities proactively and provide management with actionable recommendations.

Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and medium-term planning aligned with Group standards and timelines.

Drive cost governance, headcount planning, productivity analysis, and oversight of overheads, allocations, and recharges.

Own cash forecasting and monitor key balance sheet positions, ensuring strong financial discipline around capitalization and accruals.

Ensure compliance with Group controlling standards, internal controls, audits, and reporting requirements.

Act as a senior finance business partner to Zurich management while supporting process improvements, best practices, and development of junior controllers.
Qualifications

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum 8 years of experience in Controlling or FP&A within an international group environment, preferably in a B2B industrial project-based business.

Strong experience in legal entity controlling in a complex matrix organization.

Solid understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow mechanics, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.

Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into management insights.

Experience with ERP and planning/consolidation tools such as SAP, IFS, Tagetik, or Power BI.

Fluent in English with confidence interacting with senior stakeholders.

Structured, proactive, and resilient finance professional with strong ownership, accountability, and leadership mindset.
