Job Summary
Job Summary : OneDrive Migration Engineer based in Switzerland, detailing responsibilities such as understanding SharePoint environments, designing migration architectures, supporting user communication, and troubleshooting migration issues, alongside required experience with SharePoint, Office 365, PowerShell scripting, migration tools, and agile methodologies
Job Responsibilities : • Develop an understanding of the on premise, online SharePoint farms and FSU and their complexities. • Analyse the source and destination farm based on the site complexities, 3rd party dependencies, custom solutions and business requirements. • Contribute in defining target SPO/ODFB information architecture required for migration. • Participate in design, code, test reviews cycles and POCs. • Deliver HLD, LLD, Solution Architecture, Operation Guide, and End User Guide for migration. • Design, document and deliver engineering tasks for automation work required for migration. • Communication support for the targeted users/owners for SharePoint sites and shared drives. • Assist with the arrangement of Change request and facilitation of migrations. • Work with the programme to define End user communication, Migration execution as per set up, Migration job monitoring and troubleshooting. • Explore and support escalated issues raised on migration to determine and identify root cause. • Document key learnings and findings. • Document and raise risks and issues in the project RAID log. • Work as part of migration team and assist Migration architect and stakeholders.

Skill Requirements
Skill Requirement : • Solid and proven understanding and ability with SharePoint 2010/2013, Office 365, SharePoint Online & OneDrive for Business. • Strong knowledge of writing PowerShell in SharePoint on premise and online. • Experience with on premise SharePoint, FSU and shared drive discovery/migration to SPO/ODFB. • Hands on experience on migration tools like Sharegate, AvePoint, Metalogix etc. and troubleshooting migration issues and logs. • Experience with re-developing custom solutions and third party tools like Nintex in SPO/ODFB using Power platform tools, Azure automation etc. • Previous experience of O365 tenant configuration and SPO admin center. • Working knowledge of Agile and SDLC tools like JIRA, Bit Bucket, Artifactory etc. • Effective communication skills • Adapt quickly to the agile way of working • Ability to learn new skills through self-learning • Good team player.
