As Director, Commercial Supply Europe, you will act as the primary supply chain partner to Genmab's European Commercial organization. You will translate market demand, commercial priorities, launch activities, and business insights into robust planning inputs that support the corporate S&OP process and ensure reliable product supply across Europe.
Working closely with Commercial, Finance, Market Access, Quality, Regulatory, and Global Supply Chain teams, you will represent the European region in enterprise planning discussions, ensuring regional priorities, risks, and opportunities are reflected in corporate decision-making and global supply chain execution.
This is a highly visible individual contributor role requiring strong commercial supply chain expertise, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence across a matrix organization.
Responsibilities

Serve as the primary supply chain partner to European Commercial Leadership and General Managers.

Lead the consolidation and validation of regional demand forecasts, market intelligence, supply risks, and planning assumptions for the corporate S&OP process.

Represent the European region in corporate planning forums, ensuring regional priorities, risks, and opportunities are reflected in decision-making.

Partner closely with Corporate Supply Chain teams to align commercial requirements with supply planning, lifecycle management, and distribution activities.

Support launch readiness, product lifecycle changes, and other commercial initiatives impacting European markets.

Monitor supply performance, inventory health, and service risks across the region, leading issue escalation and mitigation planning to support market continuity.

Drive continuous improvement in planning quality, forecasting accuracy, governance, and cross-functional collaboration across the region.
Requirements
Experience
-
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
-
10-15+ years of progressive supply chain experience within biotechnology, biopharma, or life sciences.
-
Experience in Commercial Supply, Demand Planning, Regional Supply Chain Leadership, S&OP, or Integrated Business Planning environments.
-
Proven experience partnering with senior commercial leadership and representing regional business needs in enterprise planning and decision-making forums.

Experience operating in a highly matrixed environment, influencing stakeholders across Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, and other cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Experience supporting product launches and commercialization activities in regulated markets.
Knowledge & Skills
-
Strong understanding of S&OP / IBP processes, demand planning, and cross-functional planning governance.

Knowledge of pharmaceutical product lifecycle management and launch planning.
-
Understanding of European commercial and supply chain environments.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with planning data, scenarios, and KPIs.

Experience with planning and ERP systems such as SAP, or similar platforms.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
The proposed gross annual base salary range for this position, in the primary location, based on a full time schedule is:
CHF160,800.00-241,200.00
The final salary offer will depend on several factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
