We are now looking for an IT Test Governance Manager to lead quality governance across our IT landscape and shape the future of testing standards at corporate level.
This is a senior role, positioned at the intersection of strategy, governance, and execution.
You will operate within a large, structured and mature Test community of more than 200 testing professionals across 5 countries, supporting a wide portfolio of applications delivered through both Agile and Waterfall models.
Reporting to senior IT leadership, you will have direct exposure to IT Executives and the mandate to define, govern and continuously evolve global testing standards across MSC Technology, influencing how quality is designed, measured and sustained at enterprise scale.
Your will:
- Lead and actively shape Test Governance across MSC Technology
- Define and drive the global Test Strategy, ensuring consistency, efficiency and reliability of releases
- Act as a quality partner to IT leadership, enabling informed, risk‑based decisions
- Elevate testing maturity across regions through standards, tooling, metrics and coaching
Your work will directly contribute to the stability, robustness and sustainability of MSC’s enterprise systems.
Some of your key Responsibilities
Test Governance & Strategic Quality Leadership
- Define, implement and maintain the global Test Strategy (scope, objectives, risks, automation, resources)
- Standardise testing processes and methodologies, aligned with the Agile Testing Quadrants
- Govern the testing toolset, ensuring consistency, efficiency and continuous technology evolution
- Establish and monitor enterprise quality metrics (coverage, defect trends, severity, resolution time, compliance)
- Lead governance communication, including Test Governance forums and executive‑level
Reporting
Testing Operations Oversight
- Ensure adoption of standards across test design, environments, data management and traceability
- Govern defect triage, prioritisation, resolution and validation processes
- Oversee re‑testing and regression strategies to safeguard release quality
- Coach and mentor Test Managers and Test Team Leaders, strengthening maturity and leadership capability
- Support critical test campaigns and high‑impact releases when required
About You :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Quality Assurance
- 10+ years of experience in software testing, including 5+ years in leadership roles
- Deep expertise in testing methodologies and frameworks (ISTQB, Agile Testing, Automation, Performance)
- Solid experience with CI/CD environments (e.g. Azure DevOps, Git)
- Test automation expertise (Selenium, Playwright, WinAppDriver, Postman)
- Performance and load testing experience (JMeter, Postman)
- Strong understanding of modern software architectures (web, mobile, APIs)
- Proven ability to operate in multicultural, international and offshore environments
