The opportunity
Hitachi Energy is seeking a Factory Continuous Improvement Specialist for the Business Unit Transformers to join our team driving operational excellence and Lean transformation in Satigny.
In this role, you will support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives at the factory level by facilitating projects, Kaizen events, and capability-building activities that deliver measurable impact. How you will make an impact
Lead and execute factory continuous improvement projects and Kaizen events that deliver measurable impact
Apply Lean methodologies to identify opportunities and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and quality
Ensure compliance with governance standards by supporting audits, maturity assessments, and corrective actions
Integrate the Voice of the Customer into improvement initiatives and support structured problem-solving to meet expectations
Collect and analyze performance data to track KPIs and prepare dashboards that provide clear visibility of progress
Train and coach employees on Lean methods and structured problem-solving to build capability across the factory
Calculate and report savings and benefits from improvement projects and Kaizen events to ensure transparency and alignment with targets
Provide guidance and support to factory teams to ensure consistent application of continuous improvement practices and strengthen operational performance
Your background
Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Operational Excellence roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma tools (Green Belt certification)
Strong facilitation and problem-solving skills to lead Kaizen events and improvement initiatives
Analytical skills for data collection, KPI tracking, and ROI reporting
Effective communication and coaching skills to engage factory teams and promote CI practices
