Test Automation Specialist – Data Testing Zurich, Switzerland Fixed term role for 6 months with potential extension Cognizant is looking for an experienced Test Automation Specialist with a strong focus on Data Testing to support enterprise data platforms and pipelines. Key Responsibilities
Design and develop automation frameworks for data testing and regression testing.
Create automated test cases for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
Validate data quality using SQL and large-scale datasets.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
Analyze and troubleshoot test failures and data quality issues. Required Skills
Strong understanding of Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and Data Models.
Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks from scratch.
Strong SQL and data validation expertise.
Programming skills in Python, Java, or similar.
Experience with CI/CD tools and automated test execution.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have
Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, or similar cloud data platforms.
Great Expectations, dbt Tests, PyTest, Selenium, or equivalent tools.
Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or large enterprise data environments.
