We are looking for a dedicated individual who enjoys analyzing and integrating functional genomics data (primarily genome sequence and proteomics data, and possibly RNA-seq and Tn-seq data) and who can help us understand the mechanisms that allow bacteria to both stimulate plant growth and, in addition, inhibit the growth of harmful plant pathogens. Tasks

Analysing microbial proteomics data; integration with genome information

Genome assembly of bacteria using NGS data (Illumina, PacBio, Oxford Nanopore Technologies) and genome annotation

Help with the analysis of other OMICS data (RNA-Seq, Tn-Seq)

Contribute to research projects (including publications) of the Microbial Genomics and Bioinformatics Team

Maintenance & extension of data analysis pipelines (proteomics, genome assembly)
