Behind every successful product stands a strong financial foundation. As a Junior Controller, you will support the corporate controlling team in the financial management of the group. You will actively participate in the creation of analyses, reports and forecasts and contribute to creating a sound basis for decision-making for management. The focus is on supporting the operational areas in a manufacturing environment (e.g. production, logistics, purchasing). You will gain insight into all controlling and accounting processes of the group.
Your main responsibilities
Financial and operational controlling
- Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Assist in the collection and analysis of various operational key figures
- Collaboration in the monitoring of manufacturing costs, variance analyses and cost center reports
- Preparation and implementation of target/actual comparisons
- Processing and evaluating investment requests (CAPEX)
- Supporting the accounting department in day-to-day business
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support in the preparation of the annual budget and rolling forecasts
- Collaboration in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
- Collaboration in investment calculations and profitability analyses
- Preparation of data and trend analyses for management
Datamanagement & Systems
- Maintenance and further development of controlling tools (Excel, Power BI, ERP system SAP S4/HANA)
- Ensuring correct data bases from production, purchasing, logistics and sales
- Active participation in process optimization and digitization projects in controlling
Business Partnering
- Cooperation with the responsible persons from different business areas such as production, product development, etc.
- Helping operational teams analyze and interpret their numbers
- Participation in area meetings to present relevant key figures
Your profile
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling or comparable
- Initial practical experience (e.g. internship) in controlling or in an industrial environment is an advantage
- Understanding of production processes (supply chain, manufacturing, costing)
Professional competencies
- Knowledge of MS Power BI or similar BI system
- Very good Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or similar) preferred
- Analytical and numerical thinking skills
- High IT affinity
- English language skills are a must
