The Senior Communications Digital Product Manager plays a strategic and hands‑on role within the FIFA Communications Division, leading the digital content product team in conceptualising, delivering, and maintaining high‑quality digital tools and platforms across FIFA’s owned channels.
This position drives innovation, efficiency, and user‑centric excellence to ensure that FIFA’s digital products are reliable, scalable, and aligned with organisational objectives. Working collaboratively across editorial, communications, IT, event, and commercial functions, the role ensures that FIFA’s platforms enable proactive storytelling, seamless content delivery, and impactful digital engagement with global audiences.
The Senior Communications Digital Product Manager oversees digital product development across three core perspectives:
- Content production: Managing back‑end tools and workflows that enable efficient editorial operations;
- User experience: Ensuring intuitive, responsive, and high‑performance front‑end platforms; and
- Product management: Translating business needs into technical delivery that supports FIFA’s long‑term digital strategy and reflects the Football Unites the World: Strategic Objectives for the Global Game (2023–2027) vision.
Main duties
- Lead digital product strategy and delivery, managing the full lifecycle of FIFA’s digital content products across owned platforms and ensuring alignment with divisional priorities and business objectives
- Drive innovation and performance by developing scalable solutions, fostering continuous improvement, and ensuring tools and platforms reflect evolving audience needs and technologies
- Coordinate cross‑divisional collaboration to align platform functionality with communications, editorial, and stakeholder requirements
- Champion user‑centric design and operational excellence, ensuring all digital products deliver a consistent, engaging, and world‑class experience for both content creators and audiences.
