To support the growing visibility of ETH Zurich Space and to ensure clear, engaging, and up-to-date communication across our channels, we are looking for a marketing and social media support. Start date: Beginning of September or immediately.
- Collecting content for newsletters, preparing and formatting it for publication
- Creating engaging space-related content for ETH Zurich Space’s social media channels
- Regularly maintaining and updating the ETH Zurich Space website to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Developing a solid understanding of the ETH Zurich Space ecosystem and staying informed about current activities, news, and opportunities
- Preparing space-related content from various sources (researchers, partners, events, missions) for use across different media formats
Support with other tasks as needed (e.g. PPT presentations, creating brochures and- material, sourcing merchandising, creating videos and podcasts and the planning of events)
- The role will be a scope of 20 - 40% and is flexible in terms of working hours
- Longer term employment horizon (2 plus years)
- In-depth interest/understanding in Space and relevant educational background
- Be familiar with the ETH Zurich (Space) environment / willing to explore it
- Fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus
- Ability to transform complex topics into clear, engaging, and accessible content
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good understanding and knowledge of digital communication channels
- A dynamic, international, and interdisciplinary environment at one of the leading technical universities in the world
