We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Zurich, Switzerland in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will manage infrastructure automation, observability and platform reliability for enterprise applications. You will combine Linux and Windows administration expertise with advanced automation skills to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, operational tooling and monitoring solutions.

Responsibilities

Administer and troubleshoot Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments ensuring reliability, security and performance
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git and GitLab CI/CD, and manage IaC/configuration through Ansible, YAML and JSON
- Automate deployment, maintenance and system operations with Python and Bash/Shell scripting, including package management and lifecycle support
- Support enterprise application deployments, upgrades, patching and production releases in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Deploy and manage observability stacks, including OpenTelemetry, Grafana and related monitoring agents
- Develop dashboards, alerts and reports to improve operational visibility and incident response
- Analyze performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and optimize system scalability and efficiency
- Investigate and resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
- Build and extend Python-based automation frameworks to reduce manual intervention in monitoring, deployment and alert remediation
- Document technical processes, create SOPs and participate in on-call rotations for production incident management
Requirements

Strong experience in enterprise application deployment and production support
- Proven expertise in RHEL and Windows Server administration, troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Advanced proficiency in Python and Bash/Shell scripting for automation and API integrations
- Hands-on experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD and configuration management using Ansible, YAML and JSON
- Practical experience with OpenTelemetry for observability and Grafana dashboard development
- Strong understanding of metrics, logs and distributed tracing in application and infrastructure monitoring
- Knowledge of RPM package management and infrastructure troubleshooting best practices
- Professional fluency in English; German is a strong plus
