In our Market Unit Financial Services, we support clients such as CSS, TWINT, and UBS in developing tailored software solutions in demanding, business-critical environments. At our Zurich location, we are now building a talent pipeline for requirements engineers. If there is mutual interest after the initial interviews, you will be officially hired as soon as we have found the right project for you. You will be responsible for the following tasks:
Collaborating with clients to develop and describe business use cases
Analyzing business processes and organizational structures to derive meaningful requirements
Assessing and validating solution designs based on project specifications
Specifying complex technical requirements and aligning them with stakeholders
Designing solution concepts in close cooperation with developers, architects, and UX experts
Taking ownership to identify opportunities, build strong customer relationships and uncover potential to expand our business
Coordinating and documenting requirements using tools such as Jira and Confluence
Supporting the implementation of solution designs throughout the development life cycle
Acting as a key liaison between clients and development teams
Communicating change requests and supporting topics across stakeholder groups
What we're looking for
University degree (ETH/University/FH) in computer science, business informatics, or a related field
4+years of experience in requirements engineering or related roles
Independent working style and a proactive, analytical mindset
Proven consulting and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships and drive complex initiatives
Strong communication skills and a service-oriented attitude
Experience in the financial services industry
Fluency in German and English, French is a plus
Familiarity with Agile methods such as SAFe and Scrum (practical experience is a plus)
Certifications such as IREB, CBAP, CCBA, and CPRE, or a CAS in business requirements engineering are a plus
Knowledge of SQL is a plus
