Department: Finance
Hours: Full-time
Location: Bubendorf, Switzerland
We are currently offering an interesting opportunity as Accountant General Ledger (m/f/d) at our location in Bubendorf. If you are looking for a varied and exciting new professional challenge, we are happy to receive your application.

Your responsibilities:

General Ledger & Month-End Close
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and reclassifications
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances
- Support the maintenance of chart of accounts and accounting master data
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Assist in preparing internal financial reports
- Support variance analysis between actuals and budget
Compliance & Controls
- Ensure accounting activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and relevant accounting standards (IFRS/Swiss GAAP)
Operational Support
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders inside and outside the Finance Organisation to ensure accurate and timely data flow
- Maintain organized documentation
Your profile:

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or comparable education
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting role
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft dynamics, or similar) is a plus
- Good communication and organizational skills
Language:
- Good working knowledge of German and English
