Job Description

Join our Central Data & Analytics Team in Zürich as a Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer with project management responsibilities and help translate business needs into impactful data and analytics solutions.

In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities, define requirements, and support the delivery of analytics initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

Analyze and translate business needs into requirements for data and analytics solutions, including the creation of conceptual and logical data models.
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather requirements and define data-driven use cases, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder alignment.
Lead the planning and delivery of data and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.
Coordinate closely with data engineers, data scientists, and analysts to ensure successful implementation of requirements.
Lead and manage internal data and analytics projects, ensuring alignment of objectives, timelines, and stakeholders.
Organize and facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and backlog refinement, while tracking progress and managing risks and dependencies.
Contribute to improving delivery processes, requirements engineering practices, and collaboration across the Data & Analytics ecosystem.

Qualifications

Your Expertise – Our Strength

A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience.
Several years of proven experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, or project leadership within data, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of data and analytics ecosystems (data platforms, BI tools, data pipelines, reporting) and experience translating business needs and business processes into structured technical requirements.
Solid project management and stakeholder management capabilities with experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills with a proven ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Experience working in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments.
Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
