Die Position
As the Executive Recruiting& Pipelining Global Practice Lead, you actively contribute to the strategic vision and direction of the Integrated Workforce Strategies Chapter and continuously seek opportunities for innovation and value creation. As a member of the Chapter Enabling Team, you will work with the Chapter Leads, Areas of Practice Leads and IWS Partners to ensure fulfillment of the chapter vision and strategy, as well as excellent delivery of priorities. You will collectively inspire and engage the chapter members to collaborate across the network and exponentially contribute towards Roche’s 10 Year Ambitions and the People& Culture North Star.
Within the Executive Recruiting& Pipelining Area of Practice, you are accountable for setting the strategic direction for the practice area, setting conditions to empower prioritization and decision making, and providing coaching and development opportunities.
You are responsible for the Pipelining and Succession& Talent Management philosophy, strategies and activities. You drive the shift from position based pipelines, to pipelining for core skills and combining internal and external talent within one pipeline and evaluate the use of AI to increase the experience, quality and efficiency. You are also responsible for the Executive Recruitment philosophy, strategy and activities. By building this expertise in-house, you reduce dependence on external agencies for executive hirings and increase our understanding of the external talent landscape and market intelligence.
You act as an adviser to the business and their leadership team to understand strategic business objectives and needs; and you prepare and facilitate key People Discussions, on divisional and corporate levels.
Key responsibilities:
- Provides strategic leadership for the chapter, including contributing to the vision, strategy, planning, budgeting, governance and organization design
- Acts as Chapter Architect / Spine reviewer on practice related topics
- Drives the OneRoche mindset within the practice
- Is accountable for and fosters capability development for the practice
- Catalyzes action through the formation of squad teams to deliver on prioritized work
- Monitors and drives completion of work in the practice area for all regions / globally
- Ensures adherence to governance and delegations of authority
- Drives harmonization of processes and practices
- Defines quality standards, service level agreements and KPIs for the practice
- Provides content requirements, guidelines and support, as applicable, to the PSS chapter
- Participate in the staffing, coaching, developing of chapter employees, and ensures availability of capabilities according to demand
- Ensures diversity in pipelines through AoP members
- Explores the use of AI to increase experience, quality and efficiency
Core capabilities and experience:
- Significant years of experience in recruitment, executive recruitment, succession planning and talent management and strategy work within an agency or corporate environment, preferably within the healthcare industry
- Experienced in working with senior leaders and CEC members; has proven ability to influence at any given level of the organization
- Leads a networked organization with the Creative Leadership mindset and according to VACC leadership concept, without demonstrating a top down, hierarchical approach
