As an Intern in the Operational Excellence (OPEX) team, you will support key initiatives and projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and team productivity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to meaningful projects involving data analysis, digital tools, and process improvements.
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to develop your analytical and operational skills while gaining practical experience in operational excellence within a global MedTech manufacturing environment.
Internship details:

- Location: Tolochenaz, Switzerland
- Duration: 6 months
- Working hours: 40 hours per week
- Work model: on-site
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Support the deployment of simulation solutions for manufacturing lines.
- Contribute to the assessment of projects impacting processes, equipment, or FTEs (Full-Time Equivalents), enabling scenario evaluation and estimation of potential savings.
- Assist with data analysis, reporting, and visualization to support operational decision-making.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Pursuing a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
- Fluency in French, Good command of English (minimum B2)
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to work with large datasets and prepare analyses
- High motivation to learn and interest in manufacturing operations, digital solutions, or project management
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical mindset
Would be a plus:
- Experience with simulation/modeling tools (e.g., Python, Simul8, Arena, AnyLogic, or similar)
- Programming experience (e.g., Python, VBA, or similar)
- Ability to work effectively in a team and a proactive approach to problem solving
