Education Specialist - maternity leave cover:
The Education Specialist will support the Global Education Team in the implementation and management of global educational programs, with a primary focus on coordinating "Surgeon to Surgeon" visits, maintaining the Reference Center network, and ensuring the consistency of education programs across various countries. This role will also assist the education team by tracking the success rates of educational events, providing critical data for ongoing improvement of training initiatives.
The candidate will be responsible for managing the following activities:
assist Global Education Managers in the planning and coordination of "Surgeon to Surgeon" visits, managing schedules and logistical arrangements to ensure smooth delivery. Work with regional teams to uphold global standards in program delivery, ensuring educational events are consistent and aligned with divisional objectives;
oversee the organization and management of the Reference Center network, supporting its upkeep and expansion. Coordinate with regional contacts to ensure Reference Centers are equipped and prepared, providing necessary logistical and resource support. Monitor the usage and effectiveness of Reference Centers, compiling data to suggest improvements and optimize network utilization;
track and monitor the implementation and consistency of global educational programs across regions, ensuring alignment with set standards. Collect, analyze, and report on success rates and feedback from education event participants to assess program effectiveness. Support the education team by providing regular updates on key performance metrics and making recommendations for program adjustments based on data and feedback;
serve as a key point of support for Global Education Managers, assisting with logistics, scheduling, and documentation for educational events. Facilitate communication with regional teams to ensure smooth execution of initiatives and address any operational issues promptly;
support adherence to regulatory and quality standards for all educational activities;
collaborate closely with Global Education Managers, product management, marketing, regulatory and country teams to support the planning, coordination, and execution of educational programs. Provide logistical and administrative support across departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and a smooth flow of information.
The resource should also have the following skills:
Hard Skills
a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent in Engineering, Biotechnology, Biology or Medicine;
fluency in the English language and knowledge of the national language (French and/or German);
ability to deep technically understand medical devices;
project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines whilst remaining flexible to the specific Medacta working environment;
1 - 3 years of experience in medical education program management or education training in medical devices and/or pharmacological/Biotechnology;
ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
