Position

The vision is to become the most iconic high perfumery and high cosmetic house, in image and products.

INTERN RETAIL & TRADE MARKETING 100% (M/F/D)

In our Zürich Office as September 1 st (6 to 12 months)

As part of the DACH Marketing team based in Zurich, you will contribute to the deployment of Guerlain’s Trade & Retail Marketing strategies across Switzerland and Austria, in close collaboration with the other departments, EMEA, and external partners.

Job responsibilities

Trade Marketing %30

Support the execution of Trade Marketing plans to drive key product launches
Coordinate in-store activations (podiums, windows, takeovers, promotions, animations)
Develop merchandising tools and POS materials, including agency briefing and production follow-up
Monitor sell-out performance, ROI, and competitive activities

Retail Marketing %30

Implement the annual activation plan across Guerlain’s counters & Salons de Parfum
Create monthly activations and elevated client experiences around key launches and commercial moments
Manage activation budgets and track performance

Guerlain Spa Marketing %20

Support the marketing development of Guerlain’s two Spas in Switzerland
Contribute to local activations, events, and client experience initiatives
Support business development initiatives and monitor performance

Partnerships & Events %20

Contribute to the creation of VIC events, strategic partnerships, and immersive brand experiences
Develop event concepts and supporting creative assets
Build relationships with local luxury partners to drive collaborations and client recruitment opportunities
Coordinate event execution, budget follow-up, and post-event performance analysis

Profile

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Business, Communication, Luxury Management, or a related field
Previous internship or professional experience in marketing, retail, events, luxury, or hospitality
International, curious, and passionate about luxury, exclusivity, exceptional craftsmanship, and memorable experiences
Team-player, proactive, organized, autonomous, and eager to take ownership
Strong communication, project management, and analytical skills
Fluent in French and English; German is a plus
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign

It all began with Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain. A perfumer, chemist, inventor and researcher, the House’s founder settled up his first boutique in the heart of Paris, at 42, rue de Rivoli. The address quickly became an essential destination for dandies and elegant women. The House’s reputation at the courts of Europe peaked when in 1853, for the marriage of Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie, Pierre-François-Pascal created his Eau de Cologne Impériale, which he gave to the young bride as a wedding present.
Since then, five successive generations of Guerlain perfumers have held the House’s creative reins. Today, Thierry Wasser is the heir to an olfactory legacy of some 1100 fragrances and the intrepid leader of future projects, exploring the world in search of the most exclusive raw materials.
